Acquiring the Art

Acquiring a Work of Art

If you would like one of these paintings for your own,

phone Lynn Kearny at 510-316-2583 or email lkearny@sprintmail.com and we will make arrangements to get it to you as quickly as possible. See Prints and Giclées below for specifics about that option.

Your New Painting

When you make a purchase, your new painting will arrive ready for hanging in a quality frame and a specially padded box for shipping. See our guarantee, below. The original frame is included in your investment. You will be responsible for shipping costs.

Why Framed?

When you buy a painting, it will be sent to you framed and matted in a quality wood or metal frame, and glazed with UV-resistant glass. Pastels have a delicate surface, easily smudged unless they are protected with both frame and glass.

Why UV-resistant glass?

UV-resistant glass prolongs the life of your art not only by by protecting its surface, but also by screening out UV rays that could fade some colors over time. It also reduces surface reflections so your art looks crystal clear and bright.

If you prefer, we can use UV-resistant acrylic instead of glass. It has the same benefits, and is not fragile like glass. This makes it ideal for high traffic areas, exposure to children and general members of the public, or art that will be moved around or shipped frequently. Let us know if you prefer acrylic to glass. There is a surcharge for acrylic.

Your Guarantee

You will have 7 calendar days to enjoy the painting in your home or office risk-free. If you decide during those days that the art isn’t quite what you thought it was, or it doesn’t harmonize with your other art and furnishings, you may return the framed art undamaged in the same padded box for a refund. As soon as the art is received undamaged here, you will be refunded the full price less any shipping costs.

After seven calendar days the art is yours permanently, and we hope it gives you great pleasure for many years.
